Workover rig УПТ-32

The rig is designed for round-trip operations during servicing and workover of oil and gas wells up to 2.400 m in depth. It is used in temperate climate area. This is a self-propelled unit mounted on the chassis of the crawler tractor T 170.00-1. The rig includes: a single –drum winch installed on a special foundation for the equipment, a mast with a tackle system, rear and front support of the mast and a driver's cabin. The rig is completed with a make-and-break device, crow blok protector, a system for explosion-proof lighting of the operating floor and of the traveling block route. The raising of the mast and the make-and-break device is effected by means of a hydraulic system, the friction coupling is air-operated. The winch consists of a drum which is freely seated in antifriction bearings on the shaft in a welded box bed. The left-hand (as viewed from driver's side) drum flange with teeth around the circumference is at the same time the gearing of the ratchet. On the right-hand drum flange is fastened the rim of the single-band brake with changeable molded shoes. Inside the rim there is an air-operated single-disk friction coupling.

The mast is of telescopic two-section truss type with open front face. It is brought into the operating position by two hydraulic jacks. All mechanisms of the rig are operated from the driver's cabin. The mast erection is controlled from a stand placed on the rear support.
