The rig is designed for fluid circulating drilling of geophysical and core wells to depth down to 200 m by rotary drill pipes of 60.3 mm and to depth down to 300 m by 50 mm drill pipes. It is also suitable for auger drilling of cluster wells. This is complex mechanism mounted on the chassis of the cross-country truck КАМАЗ-4310. At the customer's request it is completed with a tool unit intended for the transportation of drill pipes, drilling and bench work tools and some accessories which facilitate the driller's work. The basic units of the rig are: main transmission, drawworks, rotary table, piston mud pump, mast, tool feed mechanism, three-speed gear box which transfers rotation from the main transmission to the drawworks and the rotary table. The main transmission is driven by the cardan shaft from the power takeoff. This is a shaft mounted on two bearings. The V-belt pulley wheel of the mud pump is attached by clearance to one end of the other. The mud pump drive pulley is put into operation by a half-coupling which moves in the shaft splines. The feed mechanism drive pulley is switched in constantly. The drawworks is operated by the chain gear from the gear box. On the common shaft of the drawworks are two drums, each having its own turn-on (friction coupling) and a brake. One drum is to hold the tool during drilling, the other is for round trips. Two drums allow the adding of a length to the drilling tool and round trips to be much quicker and easier. The rotary table is usual, with bevel gearing placed in an oil bath. The triangular mast is welded of three pipes, on its upper platform is four-sheave crownblock. The mast is lowered and raised by a hydraulic jack. The tool feed mechanism mechanizes the drilling process and performs emergency pulling of the tool. The НБ-32 mud pump driven by the main transmission of the rig through the V-belting ensures reliable washing out of drill holes. At night the work place is lighted by three truck battery powered head-lights located on the mast.
