Hoisting winch LPT-8
The hoisting winch is designed for round trips during repair and completion of oil and gas wells equipped with stationary derricks and masts. It is used in temperate climate areas. The hoisting winch ЛПТ-8 is a modification of the rig УПТ-32. The winch has no mast of its own and is additionally completed with a sprocket wheel for the rotor drive and a cathead for breakout of pipe thread and dragging up weights to the wellhead. The hoisting winch is a self-propelled hoist mounted on the chassis of a crawler tractor T 170.00-1. It consists of gearbox, a single drum draw works, an under-drawworks frame- cantilever, a rotor drive unit, lifting jacks and a cathead. The hoisting winch drum is seated freely on antifriction bearings on the shaft and also installed on antifriction bearings in a welded box bed. The left-hand ( as viewed from the driver's side) drum flange having teeth around the circumference is at the same time the gearing of the ratchet. On the right-hand drum flange is fastened the rim of the single-band brake with changeable shoes. Inside the rim there is an air-operated single-disk friction clutch. The drum shaft ends extend beyond the bearings; on them on the left is cathead and on the right is the rotor drive sprocket wheel with a gear master clutch. The swinged jacks – stops on the front and rear sides of the tractor prevent the hoisting winch from swinging and overturning during its operation on the well. All mechanisms of the hoist (except master clutch for the rotor drive sprocket wheel) are controlled from the driver's cabin.
