Steel gas bottles are designed for storing and transportation of liquefied hydrocarbon gas (propane, butane, propane-butane mixture). They are used as autonomic sources for everyday and industrial necessities and also as feeders of automobile power plants.
The propane-butane mixture inside the bottle is in a liquefied state under a pressure of 1.6 MPa.
The bottles of 2 categories are manufactured as follows:
- for domestic and industrial units from 5 l to 50 l (GOST 15860-84)
- for automobiles from 45 l to 96,5 l (TU AZ 00218696-12-98)
The bottles for domestic and industrial units are manufactured in different versions with crack valves or screw down valves according to the demands of the customer.
The parameters of these bottles are given in Table.
